The American Red Cross Adult CPR and Automatic External Defibrillation (AED) course prepares participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. Student will learn to give assistance to an adult who is choking (conscious and unconscious), perform rescue breathing on an adult who is not breathing and learn to give CPR and us an AED on a victim who has no detectable pulse.
Length of authorization is 1 year.

American Red Cross Infant & Child CPR course teaches skills necessary for responding to emergencies. Student will learn to give assistance to a infant or child who is choking (conscious and unconscious), perform rescue breathing, and learn to give CPR.
Length of authorization is 1 year.
Course Costs: $25.00 - For additional classes add $15.00 each
American Red Cross CPR Recertification courses are intended to reauthorizes participants in adult, infant and child CPR. Participants must have taken a CPR class within one year to be eligible for this class.
Length of authorization is 1 year
Course Cost: $15.00 for one Recertification/class and $25.00 for both classes.
This course provides the necessary knowledge and skills training for professional rescuers (lifeguards & health care workers). Participants will learn to respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies, Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) use and administration of oxygen.
Length of authorization is 1 year
The cost of this course $55.00, recertification $35.00
Trains individuals to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for sudden illness and injury.
Length of authorization is 3 years

Successful completion of course work culminates in certification by the American Red Cross. Active participation is mandatory for certification, no individual is guaranteed certification in any area. Certification is based on skill, knowledge and teaching ability (where applicable). Each student is responsible for attaining the level of ability needed for certification.
